Delete your Dzing account
This page explains how to delete your Dzing account and which data is deleted or kept. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
In the Dzing app
- Open Dzing and go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately, together with the financial data stored on that device.
On this page, without the app
- Enter the email address of your Dzing account below and tap Delete account.
- Open the confirmation email we send you. The link is valid for 24 hours.
- Tap Delete my account in the email. Your account is deleted as soon as the link opens.
You can also email fluxo.admin@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and we will delete it for you.
Data we delete
Once you confirm, we delete the following from our servers straight away:
- Account profile — your name, email address and the dates the account was created and last updated.
- Sign-in methods — your password (stored only as a hash) and your Google or Apple sign-in identifiers. If you used Sign in with Apple, we also revoke Dzing's access with Apple.
- Sessions — sign-in tokens, device ID, platform and browser or app details for every device you signed in on.
- Onboarding answers — the answers you gave during onboarding while signed in to the account.
- Subscription records — the Dzing Pro status we keep for your account: plan, store, status, trial and renewal dates, and the purchase events our billing provider sent us.
- Notification settings — registered notification devices (device token, platform, app version, language) and notifications addressed to you.
- Feedback and support requests — everything you sent us from the app, including the contact email and details attached to it.
- Early-access sign-up — the Dzing waitlist entry for the same email address.
Data we keep
- Email opt-out — if you unsubscribed from Dzing emails, we keep your email address on the Dzing opt-out list so we never email you again. It holds nothing else and is kept for as long as we send emails.
- Financial data on your device — your accounts, transactions, budgets and goals never leave your device, so they are not on our servers. Deleting the account in the app also erases them on that device. A request from this page cannot reach your device — uninstall Dzing or clear its data to remove them.
- Purchase records — Apple App Store, Google Play and our billing provider RevenueCat keep their own transaction records under their policies and legal obligations. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your store account first.
- Diagnostics — crash reports (Sentry) and usage analytics (Microsoft Clarity) are kept only for those providers' configured retention periods and are then deleted automatically.
Retention period
There is no waiting period: the data listed under “Data we delete” is removed the moment you confirm and is not kept afterwards. Only the items under “Data we keep” remain, for the reasons given above. See our Privacy Policy for details.
