Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dzing, operated by Markiian Halabut (“Dzing”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use:

  • the Dzing mobile application;
  • the website at https://dzing.money; and
  • related services, accounts, subscriptions, support, and communications.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at fluxo.admin@gmail.com.

1. Our Local-First Approach

Dzing is designed as a local-first personal finance and cashflow planning application.

Your core financial data, including information such as:

  • accounts and balances;
  • transactions;
  • categories and subcategories;
  • budgets;
  • planned expenses;
  • financial goals; and
  • other financial records you create inside the mobile application,

is stored locally on your device.

We do not upload this financial database to the Dzing backend, and we do not have access to these financial records.

The Dzing backend is separate from your local financial database and is used only for limited account-related functionality described below.

Certain non-financial information may still be transmitted when necessary for account functionality, subscription management, crash diagnostics, or other services described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

If you create a Dzing account, we may collect and store:

  • your email address and name;
  • a protected password credential, which is not intended to be stored in plain text; and
  • account identifiers necessary to operate your account.

We use this information to create, authenticate, secure, and manage your Dzing account.

2.2 Onboarding and Preference Information

We may store answers and preferences you provide during onboarding, for example information used to configure or personalize your experience.

These answers are not your transaction history, account balances, budgets, or other locally stored financial records.

2.3 Local Financial Data

Financial information that you enter into the Dzing mobile application remains stored locally on your device.

Dzing does not intentionally transmit this financial database to:

  • our backend;
  • Google Analytics;
  • Microsoft Clarity;
  • RevenueCat; or
  • our website.

We also do not use your local financial records for advertising.

Because we do not receive this data, we generally cannot view, recover, export, or remotely delete it for you.

2.4 Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a subscription through the mobile application, the transaction is processed through the applicable platform, such as:

  • Apple App Store; or
  • Google Play.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.

Depending on the platform and configuration, RevenueCat and the relevant app store may process information such as:

  • app or customer identifiers;
  • product and subscription identifiers;
  • purchase and renewal events;
  • subscription status;
  • expiration dates;
  • entitlement status; and
  • transaction or receipt information.

We do not receive your complete payment-card details from Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.

If you purchase a subscription through our website, payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment processor, which acts as merchant of record for transactions processed through its platform.

The payment processor may collect payment, billing, tax, contact, and transaction information directly from you. We may receive information necessary to identify your purchase and provide access to the relevant Dzing features.

2.5 Crash and Diagnostic Information

We use Sentry to identify crashes, errors, and technical problems.

Diagnostic information may include:

  • application version;
  • operating system;
  • device type;
  • error messages;
  • crash reports;
  • stack traces;
  • timestamps;
  • technical identifiers; and
  • other diagnostic context necessary to investigate errors.

Dzing does not intentionally send your locally stored financial records to Sentry.

We aim to limit diagnostic information to what is reasonably necessary to identify and fix technical problems.

2.6 Website Analytics and Usage Information

The website at dzing.money may use analytics services including:

  • Google Analytics; and
  • Microsoft Clarity.

Depending on your consent choices and the configuration of these services, they may process information such as:

  • browser and device information;
  • approximate location derived from network information;
  • pages viewed;
  • session and navigation information;
  • clicks and scrolling behavior;
  • referring pages;
  • pseudonymous identifiers; and
  • other website interaction information.

Microsoft Clarity may also provide session-replay and interaction-analysis functionality.

These analytics tools apply to the website and do not provide us with access to the financial database stored inside your Dzing mobile application.

2.7 Communications

If you contact us, we may process:

  • your email address;
  • the contents of your message;
  • information you voluntarily include; and
  • information reasonably necessary to respond to your request.

Please avoid sending sensitive financial information through support emails unless it is necessary to resolve your issue.

We may also use infrastructure and hosting providers that process limited technical information necessary to deliver our website or backend services.

Third-party providers may act as processors, service providers, or independent controllers depending on the particular service and processing activity.

Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Dzing website may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies.

Essential Technologies

Some technologies may be necessary to:

  • provide website functionality;
  • maintain security;
  • remember privacy preferences; or
  • operate essential services.

Analytics Technologies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or pseudonymous identifiers to measure website usage and interactions.

Where applicable law requires consent, non-essential analytics technologies will be used only after the required consent has been obtained.

You may reject or manage non-essential cookies through the cookie or privacy controls made available on the website.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Browser-level cookie controls may also allow you to block or delete cookies.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers operate or process information in countries outside your country of residence, including countries outside the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable data-protection law, international transfers will rely on an appropriate legal mechanism, which may include:

  • an adequacy decision;
  • Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • another legally recognized transfer mechanism; or
  • another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.

The specific safeguards used may depend on the provider and processing activity.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.

In general:

  • account information is retained while your account remains active and for a limited period afterward where necessary for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance;
  • purchase, tax, and transaction records may be retained for periods required by accounting, tax, consumer-protection, or other applicable laws;
  • support communications may be retained while necessary to handle the request and related legal or operational matters;
  • diagnostic and analytics information is retained according to our configured retention periods and the applicable provider’s settings and agreements.

Your locally stored financial data remains on your device until you delete it, reset application data, uninstall the application, erase the device, or otherwise remove it.

Copies created by your device’s operating system or backup services may be governed by the settings and policies of those services rather than by Dzing.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Dzing account and associated server-side personal data.

Delete through the Dzing app

Where an account has been created, Dzing provides an account-deletion option through the application’s settings.

The deletion flow may require reasonable identity verification or confirmation to prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion.

Delete by contacting us

You may also request deletion by emailing:

fluxo.admin@gmail.com

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Dzing account where possible.

What we delete

Following a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your Dzing account that we control, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

This may include:

  • account information;
  • authentication records that are no longer required;
  • onboarding answers; and
  • other server-side data directly associated with the account.

Where appropriate, we will also take reasonable steps to instruct relevant processors to delete data associated with your account, subject to their legal and contractual retention requirements.

Local financial data

Your financial database is stored on your device and is not held on our backend.

Because we do not possess this database, an email deletion request cannot remotely erase financial records stored only on your device.

Use the application’s local deletion/reset functionality or your device’s controls to remove local application data.

Subscriptions after account deletion

Deleting your Dzing account or uninstalling Dzing does not necessarily cancel an active subscription processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another billing provider.

You are responsible for managing or cancelling a platform subscription through the applicable billing provider unless Dzing expressly confirms otherwise.

Billing providers may retain transaction records where required by law.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • access personal information we hold about you;
  • obtain a copy of your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion;
  • restrict certain processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • receive certain information in a portable format; and
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

Where the GDPR applies, these rights are subject to the requirements and exceptions established by applicable law.

If processing is based on legitimate interests, you may have a right to object based on your particular circumstances.

If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Residents of California and other jurisdictions may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, disclosure, or certain uses of their personal information.

To exercise a privacy right, contact:

fluxo.admin@gmail.com

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information under our control.

These measures may include:

  • access controls;
  • protected authentication credentials;
  • secure communications;
  • data minimization;
  • limited access to production systems; and
  • monitoring for technical or security problems.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Because your financial database is stored locally, the security of your device is also important. You should use appropriate device protections such as a passcode, biometric authentication where available, operating-system updates, and secure device backups where appropriate.

11. Children

Dzing is not directed to children under the age of 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us unlawfully, contact fluxo.admin@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

Where local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, those requirements apply.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when:

  • our services change;
  • our data practices change;
  • third-party integrations change; or
  • legal or regulatory requirements change.

The updated version will display a new “Last updated” date.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
